Fees & Rates
Tipping Fees (Effective January 1, 2026)
These are just the tipping fees and do not include the license fee or any additional charges. For information on the License Fee please visit Landfill Rules & Requirements.
Note: All fees subject to change
Waste Disposal Tipping Fees at the GLRA
- $82.00 per ton
- $41.00 minimum fee
(up to 1000 pounds)
Green Waste Tipping Fees at the GLRA
- $36.00 per ton
- $18.00 minimum fee
(up to 1000 pounds)
Clean Wood Waste Tipping Fees at the GLRA
- $36.00 per ton
- $18.00 minimum fee
(up to 1000 pounds)
Residual Waste Tipping Fee at the GLRA
- $72.00 - $82.00 per ton (only pre-approved types)
- $36.00 - $41.00 minimum fee
(up to 1000 pounds)
Special Handling Waste Disposal Fees at the GLRA (requires a pit to be dug and closure of the pit immediately following placement of municipal solid waste)
- $90.00 per ton
- $45.00 minimum fee
(up to 1000 pounds)
Accepted Waste
The GLRA accepts only the following wastes:
- Residential waste
- Commercial waste
- Construction and demolition debris
- Pre-approved types of residual waste
- Green waste
- Clean wood
Green Waste
Green waste includes only the following:
- Leaves
- Shrubbery (less than 6 inches in diameter)
- Branches (less than 6 inches in diameter)
- Grass clippings
- Tree trimmings (less than 6 inches in diameter)
- Garden residue
- Tree limbs (less than 6 inches in diameter)
Anything over 6 inches in diameter, such as whole trees, logs, and/or tree stumps will be charged the Waste Disposal Tipping Fee rate of $41.00 minimum up to 1000 pounds or $82.00 per ton (2000 pounds).
Clean Wood
Clean wood includes only the following:
- Clean wood
- NO PARTICLEBOARD AND NO PLYWOOD---WHICH HAVE GLUE AND PRESERVATIVES
- Raw lumber
- Wood pallets (untreated, no paint, no preservatives, no stains)
Additional Charges
Additional charges are added onto the tipping fee.
Backhoe Use
- $30 per 15 minute increment
White Goods & Freon Appliances
- $15 per each appliance for Freon removal for refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners, and dehumidifiers.
Tire Disposal
